Tänä päivänä, tasan sata vuotta sitten, Suomesta tuli itsenäinen valtio. Sen kunniaksi maalasin tänään kuvan, jonka pääväreinä ovat Suomen lipun värit, sininen ja valkoinen, ja aiheena Suomen kansallispuu, koivu. Tämä on sopivasti myös blogini sadas päivitys. Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää!
Today, one hundred years ago, Finland became an independent country. In honor of it, I have painted today a picture which has the colors of the Finnish flag, blue and white, as the main colors; and the subject is the national tree of Finland, birch. This is also, appropriately, the hundredth post of my blog. Happy independence day!
